Experience

Gert has more than 8 years experience providing assurance and audit services to his clients.

He currently holds the role of Manager in Prosperity’s Corporate Assurance group.

Gert specialises in the provision of internal audit, risk management reviews, efficiency and effectiveness reviews and financial reporting. Gerts experience also includes working for large listed companies as well as a number of medium and small businesses across manufacturing, property and mining sectors. He has substantial Resource sector experience which includes internal audit assignments at Xtrata.

Prior to joining Prosperity, Gert has had audit experience with Big 4 firms the most recent being  as Internal Audit Manager within the Risk and Control Solutions Group in the Corporate Assurance division of PriceWaterhouseCoopers

Gert works closely with his clients bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls and governance processes. His thorough approach adds value and improves operations within his clients’ businesses by identifying opportunities to decrease costs, increase revenues and improve efficiencies.
