Tom’s passion is in assisting his clients to develop a firm picture of their desired “end game”. He develops concrete steps to assist his clients achieve results.
This focus has led Tom to develop a broad experience base in advisory and taxation gained from working with clients on a range of projects which include mergers and acquisitions, business modelling and funding, business structuring, company and share valuations, strategies to monitor business performance, budgeting advice, tax planning and compliance.
Tom has commercial experience gained in both ASX listed and US listed companies while being based in the USA. This experience gives Tom unique insight into a client’s needs from the “inside-out”. He applies his strong technical and strategic business mindset on delivering practical improvements and results.
Tom also has strong Corporate Assurance experience, including providing advisory services to clients in relation to International Financial Reporting Standards (‘IFRS’), external audits of large corporates and large-scale internal audits
Tom looks at the affairs of his clients not only at the business level, but also in terms of what is best for the owners and stakeholders in the business. His private clients observe that his ability to focus on both these dimensions allows him to deliver much greater value by delivering a holistic result.
Tom has previously held senior client manager roles with a ‘Big‘ Four Chartered Accounting firm but a drive for deeper client involvement led him to Prosperity.
